Combine the painterly effects of painting with the lines and textures of drawing! Working with acrylic paint and chalk pastels on both paper and canvas, this class will explore the ways to utilize the best of each media for the sake of expression and representation. Students will create several works over four weeks, including studies, small paper pieces, and medium canvas works. Subject will be open though students will be encouraged to work from photo. All supplies: (2 )11×14 canvass, paints, pastels, brushes and use of brushes etc included in class price.
